Joined up solution follows platform expansion

Bango unifies SDK to offer cross platform analytics
App analytics specialist Bango is to attempt to unify its platform by offering a new, one size fits all, SDK pitched at multiple operating systems.

The firm, which offers analytics data for studios working on BlackBerry, iOS, Android and (in the near future) Windows Phone 7, claims the new set up will enable to view analytics data on supported formats via a single, amalgamated SDK.

Building on Bango

In short, the new kit will aim to give firms a complete view of their business across multiple platforms and payment methods.

"Bango has combined 11 years of mobile experience with award winning technology and global partnerships in order to take app analytics to a completely new level," said Bango CEO Ray Anderson.

"With developers pursuing a multi-channel distribution strategy across many app stores, Bango Analytics standardises the tracking and reporting for all channels through the addition of one simple library."

Stick or twist

Bango has confirmed that the unified data will be able to be filtered, however, if studios so choose.

Developers will be able to view reports on their apps focused on device type or OS, app name or version, value or event, or operator and country.

Further details regarding the SDK's implementation can be found on Bango's website.
