Former Player X man James Duncan joins TeePee as content manager
Games discovery platform TeePee's hire drive continues, with the announcement that CEO and co-founder Tony Pearce has snapped up another Player X veteran in the shape of James Duncan.

Set to serve as TeePee's new content manager, Duncan formally took on the role of video deployment administrator at Player X.

More recently, he worked at Zed Worldwide as a portal technician.

"TeePee Games is a really exciting games discovery platform and with some incredible games signed up I'm sure it’ll take 2011 by storm," Duncan said of the move.

"I'm very pleased that I can play a valuable role in the early stages of development for such a pioneering portal."

Duncan isn't the first former Player X employee to join TeePee.

In November, the firm revealed Lauren Omond – who worked as UK marketing manager for the company – would be joining to serve as project manager.

In the same month, TeePee also picked up Darren Newnham – who, amongst others, held positions at both Sega Europe and O2 – as head of content.

"James is a great addition to the team as he brings with him an extensive level of technical expertise and experience across a range of digital media platforms," said Pearce of Duncan's appointment.

"TeePee Games is going from strength to strength as we fill out essential staff with ideal candidates alongside continual growth in the number of developers and publishers we have signed up."
