EA's launches Android sale and Worms' and Bejeweled 2's future release
EA has been bullish about Android for years. Indeed, it’s just announced a holiday sale on its catalog.

Need for Speed: Shift, Tetris, FIFA 10 and The Sims 3 are available for 99c, while Hasbro licences Monopoly and The Game of Life are $1.99.

And the publisher's also ensuring it gets its hands on the best of other developers' games for the platform.

It's announced it will be releasing Team17's Worms and PopCap's Bejeweled 2 for the platform in the near future. EA has published PopCap's games on Java and Brew for years.

Faith in Google

"Expanding our world class franchises onto the emerging Android Marketplace brings our popular, award-winning games to more phones, more carriers and ultimately, more consumers," said Adam Sussman, EA Mobile's veep of worldwide publishing.

EA's games are available for devices running Android OS versions 2.0 and higher. To check compatibility and download games visit on your phone or on your PC.
