Former MoMac man Chris Hanage joins Papaya Mobile as Europe GM
China-based social mobile gaming platform Papaya Mobile has hired Chris Hanage, formerly of MoMac, as its new general manager for Europe.

Joining Oscar Clark, the company's developer evangelist, Hanage will be in charge of expanding the platform's operations in Europe,attracting developers and strategic partners to build on its 30 million strong userbase.

European hotbed

"It's a dream opportunity to join such a fun, fast growing and dynamic company at the forefront of one of the most exciting spaces in the mobile world," said Hanage.

"Europe has always been a hotbed of mobile and games talent, and I'm looking forward to building Papaya's ecosystem with developers big and small."

Papaya had grown by a substantial amount in August 2011, with total growth after a 20 month period of over 900 percent.
