MoVend signs up for appbackr's SmartApps algorithm to populate Asian app stores including Samsung Apps
Mobile crowdfunding network appbackr has signed a deal to bring its predictive SmartApps algorithm to carrier and OEM apps stores in Asia.

The company, which also operates an interesting model enabling investors or backrs to gain returns of up to 54 percent, will be working with Singapore-based mobile payments platform Stream Media via its MoVend brand.

The deal will see SmartApps used to populate stores with apps that will generate traffic and sales on a per market and channel basis in conjunction with appbackr's Xchange program

Store that will use the service include the Samsung Apps Store, HTC China, Lenovo China, StarAndroid, AppChina, MTI – Logtomo, AIS (Thailand), SingTel and M1 (Singapore), Globe (Philippines) , Telkomsel (Indonesia), Bharti Airtel (India), Optus, Telstra and 3 (Australia), and Maxis (Malaysia).

Operator stores in U.A.E. and Egypt will come online in Q4 2011.
