App PR service appromoter goes live, free for first 300 developers
From early online wire services such as Games Press to indie boutique services such as Bandello, the process of PRing your game to an increasingly fragmented media has to constantly evolve.

The latest form is provided by UK start up appromoter.

Here be apps

Sitting somewhere between the extremes of self service asset availability and the personal touch, it offers app developers the opportunity to create a mini-site under its PR umbrella.

This centralises standard assets - images, video, social media links - plus distribution including promo codes. It also generates feedback in terms of tracking who's been checking out your titles, while additional SEO, marketing, video production and copywriting packages are available.

The service is designed to make life easier for journalists too, enabling them to see the app categories they're interested in or browse and search through everything.

Currently available in an open beta, appromoter is building out its business, offering the first 300 developers who sign up free access. When formally launched, prices will start from £149.
