Neon Play CEO Oli Christie named entrepreneur of the year by National Chamber of Commerce
Heading up UK outfit Neon Play one minute, then meeting with the Government to fight the indie outfit's corner the next, life's certainly not dull for CEO Oli Christie.

Indeed, so impactful do some consider Christie that the National Chamber of Commerce has named him entrepreneur of the year at its annual awards.

The studio also won Most Promising New Business and the Innovation through Technology award for the South West, making it ten accolades in six months.

"We cannot believe how many awards we’ve won in the last few months," said Christie

"Not only have we gained recognition at a local level with awards at the Cirencester and Gloucestershire Business Awards but we seem to have made an impact at some huge national events, including those run by Nectar and the British Chamber of Commerce.

"You don't go into business to win awards but it's really encouraging to get such fantastic support from your peers."

As stated, other notable awards picked up by the Cirencester-based studio in recent months include startup of the year at the Nectar Business Awards and inclusion in Smarta's top 100 small businesses.

Neon Play will also contest the mobile business of the year award at the Startup Awards on December 2.
