MobileBits adds content to 50,000-strong SoulCraft beta
MobileBits' Android free-to-play action-RPG title SoulCraft has been in open beta for a couple of weeks, accumulated 50,000 players in the process.

And in response to fan demand, a new location, the Cambodian map, has been added.

Currently, only available on Tegra 2 and Tegra 3-powered devices, the game features what the company labels 'HD environments, HD textures and physical particle effects using all four cores of the Tegra 3 superphones and tablets'.

Big apple

"One of the features requested are more locations to play on and that's why we added Cambodia into the mix – and we will add New York in about 2 weeks", said Karsten Wysk, CEO of MobileBits.

Producer Boje Holtz added "SoulCraft is for real gamers – and what better way to get feedback than to let gamers actually play the game?"

MobileBits is preparing to discuss details of its experiences making the game in a developer diary on its website, which is also where you can access the open beta.
