Composer collective launches Indie Loop Garden for high quality custom sounds
Game audio rarely gets the profile it deserves but that doesn't mean you shouldn't spend as much time and effort on it as graphics and gameplay.

And Indie Loop Garden will help you.

The game audio resource has been set up by Vince Webb to provide indie developers with the opportunity to find high quality custom sounds rather than using cheap stock music sites.

It's a collaboration between nine musicians, include the likes of Rich Vreeland (Fez), G87 (Hydorah), Ian Stocker (Soulcaster) and Sean Beeson (Aiko Island).

"Our site is aimed at connecting indie with composers of different musical styles to save them the trouble of trawling through forums," explains Webb.

"We strongly believe that original tailored sound is integral in creating a special gameplay experience. We are not big fans of the many royalty free/blanket license music sites out there."

The site - currently in beta - also includes resource articles about working with composers, pricing and paperwork.
