Playing nice with carriers

Velti adds Paul Sinclair as VP of operator sales
Velti, the mobile marketing group which owns the Mobclix ad exchange, was most recently in the news as the founding company of the ODIN working group.

It's an industry body which has been set up to create a longterm standard replacement for UDIDs.

But while that activity is ongoing, the company's also doing the day-to-day.

Indeed, it's just hired Paul Sinclair as its VP of operator sales.

Experience counts

Operating out of its San Francisco office, Sinclair will work to expand Velti's relations with wireless carriers and mobile operators.

A 20-year veteran of the industry, he's previously worked as VP of worldwide business development at virtual switchboard outfit RingCentral, and head of carrier software/platform sales for the Americas at Nokia, amongst others.
