In an interview broadcast on French radio, product designer Philippe Starck has revealed he's been working with Apple on a product described as "quite revolutionary".
Starck who has designed everything from alarm clocks to street lights in his 30 year career told the programme Tout et son Contraire that he and Apple are working on a "big project together" that "will be out in eight months".
Rampant speculation
Notably, such a launch window lines up with analysts' predictions for the release of Apple's updated TV platform. Jeffrie's & Co.'s Peter Misek recently pegged the 'iPanel' for a Q4 2012 launch, for instance.
But since Starck refused to provide any further details on his collaboration with Apple, it's unlikely we'll know more until the company unveils this 'revolutionary' product.
Philippe Starck is perhaps best known popularly for his iconic aluminium lemon squeezer design. He has also designed toothbrushes, motorcycles, and an optical mouse for Microsoft.
