Claims up to 90% reduction in data

Nokia releases new cloud-based browser for Series 40 devices with focus on web apps
While much of the focus on Nokia concerns its Window Phone devices, the vast bulk of its install base remains on Series 40.

With the release of a new cloud-enabled browser, the company hopes to significantly improve its users' web experience.

For the world

Supporting 87 languages and available in over 200 countries, Nokia Browser 2.0 will come pre-loaded on some current and all future Series 40 phones. It can be downloaded from the Nokia Store for existing phones.

Thanks to its cloud-caching functionality, Nokia says it reduces data consumption by up to 90 percent, also including background and queue download features.

It makes it simple to find, install and use web apps from its dedicated 10,000-strong catalog too, and supports one-click sharing on social networks.

You can download the browser from Nokia Store here.
