Indie Dev Marketing conference announced for Develop 2012
Develop 2012 organiser Tandem Events has unveiled a half-day indie marketing conference on 11 July during the Brighton expo.

The conference will be held one day prior to the Indie Dev Day, with passes available for £50 for Indie Dev Day delegates looking to upgrade.

A total of six sessions will be hosted across the course of the half day, with Tandem looking to aid indie outfits with their marketing and PR efforts.

Indie exposure

"There have been some phenomenal success stories from the indie community and there's a wealth of great talent and creative games out there," said Tandem Event's managing director Andy Lane.

"We recognise just how important it is for all developers, especially indies, to promote and PR their games and make them stand out from the crowd, which is why we're adding in this new focus on indie marketing into the programme."

Sessions for the following day's Indie Dev Day have also been announced, with Alistair Aitcheson of Greedy Bankers, Spilt Milk Studios MD Andrew John Smith and Byron Atkinson-Jones of Xiotex Studios all on board, amongst others.

Indie Dev Day passes are available as an early bird special price of £75 if purchased before 13 June, with access to both the Dev Day talks and the expo provided.

More information on both sessions and speakers can be found on Develop 2012's official website.
