Set to serve as 'pilot project'

Mondia Media partners with PS Moviles to launch ad-financed services
German mobile entertainment specialist Mondia Media has signed a strategic agreement with Spanish marketing firm PS Móviles to increase the potency of its platform for developers.

Mondia, which was previously known as Arvato, has teamed up with the firm to produce ad-financed services for mobile content distributors.

The deal will see a server automatically integrate third-party ad banners via Mondia's content management system, allowing content – including games – to generate additional revenue.

"By entering into this strategic cooperation with PS Móviles, we are further enlarging our extensive portfolio by amending ad-funded services that provide additional value to our customers," said Mondia CEO Volker Glaeser.

The model is described as a "pilot project" by Mondia, with PS Móviles CEO Borja Calvet claiming his new partner's inventory is "perfectly suited for our demanding advertisement customers."
