Business and consumer presence planned

GREE confirms first splash at GamesCom 2012 in Cologne
After its big push at E3 in Los Angeles, Japanese social gaming giant GREE has confirmed its next big splash will be at GamesCom in Cologne, Germany.

The firm claims it will be demonstrating the "latest in mobile social gaming content", with GREE having recently launched its games platform for iOS and Android in the west.

Game for GREE

"GamesCom is significant for all types of gaming, particularly the exciting possibilities brought by mobile social gaming," said GREE founder and CEO Yoshikazu Tanaka.

“Having the opportunity to engage directly with consumers, as well as business attendees, is extremely valuable for our European teams in demonstrating the GREE offering."

For its part, organisers at GamesCom said they are "proud" to announce GREE's debut at the event, with GREE set to make its presence felt at both the business and consumer sections of the show.

"We are confident it will be an excellent experience for them and they will be a welcome and relevant addition for our attendees," added GamesCom project manager Tim Endres.
