YoYo's GameMaker: Studio kickstarts Nook support with 9 title run
A total of nine releases creating using YoYo Game's GameMaker: Studio have hit Barnes & Noble's Nook Store for the firm's range of eReaders

The games, which are playable on both the original Nook Tablet and the Nook Color, can be downloaded for 99c, with the company claiming further Nook titles are set to follow in the coming months.

"We are thrilled to be introducing such a large selection of games to Nook owners and showing developers how easy it can be to publish to Nook once they've created games with GameMaker: Studio," said Stuart Poole, head of publishing at YoYo Games.

"From family-friendly titles like Froad to the gravity defying technical marvel They Need to Be Fed, we are offering a highly entertaining gaming experience for all Nook owners to engage in and enjoy."

GameMaker: Studio is designed to aid the development of games across a multitude of platforms, including iOS, Android and HTML5.

The full run of Nook releases includes the aforementioned Froad and They Need to Be Fed, as well as sling shot release Pollushot, Simply Minesweeper, Simply Solitaire Pro and Simply Word Search, Skydiver Drop Zone, Reflexions and Sync Simple.

With a fine eye for detail, Keith Andrew is fuelled by strong coffee, Kylie Minogue and the shapely curve of a san serif font.
