Unite Nordic unites with Nordic Game Conference for Malmo marathon in May
Having announced its annual Unite conference is bound for the Canadian city of Vancouver this August, Unity has now started to flesh out its regional events.

Unite's footprint in Europe in 2013 – with Amsterdam having played host to the main event last year – will see it head to the Swedish city of Malmö on 21-22 May, with Unity CEO David Helgason set to take to the stand to host the event's keynote.

But Unity's conference – known as Unite Nordic – won't be the only event hitting Malmö that week.

Malmö madness

Following on in the same venue - Malmö's Slagthuset – will be the Nordic Game Conference, which will run from 22-24 May.

Indeed, the two events have decided to officially come together (sharing the venue on 22 May, in fact), enabling developers looking to attend both conferences to base themselves around one venue rather than being torn between two Nordic locations.

"The Nordic games development scene has grown over the last few years to become one of the strongest and most creative communities in the world," said Unity in a statement.

"Both Unite Nordic and NGC offer learning and networking opportunities very valuable to the indie-heavy development scene in the area. Having both shows in the same location presents incredible opportunity for cross pollination of ideas, topics, and attendees at the two conferences."

You can find more details on Unite Nordic on the firm's website. Details on the Nordic Game Conference can be found here.
