InMobi's new App Publish platform lets Android devs publish to 130 app stores worldwide
InMobi – the world's largest independent mobile ad network – has unveiled an Android app store distribution platform it's calling App Publish.

The free tool promises a quick and easy way for Android developers to publish their apps to app stores worldwide, including GetJar, Mobango, Slide Me and a host of Chinese markets.

Problem solvers

InMobi notes that publishing on alternative, international app stores can often involve legal legwork, and that it can prove difficult to track download and install figures.

Perhaps more importantly, though, collecting revenue in a timely manner can be difficult when dealing with small or distant stores.

App Publish, of course, is designed to overcome these difficulties. Developers can publish their game to more than 130 global app stores quickly and easily, managing their worldwide presence from a single dashboard and collecting payment from a single partner.

Be everywhere

"Paying for position and app discovery on Google Play is becoming increasingly expensive and ultra-competitive," explained InMobi's head of product management for developer platforms Girish Prabhu.

"The launch of App Publish serves to meet the mass desire from app developers to compete in multiple channels in a simple, profitable way. Early beta testers of App Publish have seen 30 percent more downloads through these new app store channels."

Interested developers can find out more about the App Publish platform on the InMobi website.
