Supercell seeking artists, game client programmers and server engineers to power next gen
Clash of Clans developer Supercell is currently seeking experienced artists, game client programmers and server side engineers for its next generation of games.

Applicants for the artist position should be able to boast at least three years of experience creating game graphics, ideally in 3D. More generally, the ability to independently create everything from 2D concepts to final 3D renders is a must, too.

Familiarity with Flash would be advantageous, as would the proven ability to produce work in a variety of art styles – from the cartoonish to the realistic.

In return, Supercell promises an environment that values artistic freedom and the opportunity to work with game teams and management to ensure the direction of your projects.

Protect and server

The Helsinki studio is also seeking game client programmers, and notes that applicants must have three years of professional game development experience under their belts as well as strong C++ skills.

The role will require someone who can create iOS development solutions from scratch, and as such, it demands a candidate with a wide range of different game technology areas, including gameplay, graphics, tools and more.

Finally, Supercell is also on the hunt for a senior server engineer for its game team. Applicants to this role should have a minimum of five years experience with server-side Java, as well as database design and implementation skills.

You can find out more about any of the above positions by dropping a mail to jobs [at] supercell [dot] net.

But for those interested in the roles, there will also be an opportunity to speak with the Supercell team at the upcoming Pocket Gamer Mobile Mixer, which will be held in Helsinki on 23 April.

Representatives from a number of key players in Finland's burgeoning mobile games industry will be on hand at the event, so it's a perfect opportunity for a bit of networking and a lot of (responsible) drinking.

You can find out more about the Pocket Gamer Mobile Mixer Helsinki, and register your attendance, at the event's EventBrite page.
