Think, Drink & Connect in SF with Sega, FunPlus, WeMade, Kabam... plus Sonic

Get down to Vessel on Wednesday 26 June

Think, Drink & Connect in SF with Sega, FunPlus, WeMade, Kabam... plus Sonic
It's been a couple of weeks since WWDC and E3, so we've had the chance to sit back and opine on everything console and unconsole.

But now it's time for the mobile game community to come together to discuss hot topics over hosted cocktails and gourmet treats, at the latest Pocket Gamer Mobile Mixer, with many thanks to our generous sponsors Sega and FunPlus.

Talking shop

So on Wednesday, 26 June, from 6-9pm at the Vessel club in San Francisco, join Jeff Scott, editor-in-chief of 148Apps, as he recaps the news coming out of the shows - and not coming out of the shows.

Jeff will be joined in his discussions by an illustrious panel: Yitao Guan, co-founder and CTO of FunPlus, Ethan Einhorn, director of online operations at SEGA, Matt Curtis, senior director of product management at Kabam, and Philip Yun, CEO of WeMade.

What will they be talking about....

  • Will the iPhone joypad revolutionise mobile?

  • Are the new unconsoles destined to fail?

  • iOS7 vs. Android Jelly Bean, is there really a reason to take sides?

  • Will messaging apps takeover as the next huge gaming platform?

  • Is E3 even relevant to mobile anymore?

No ordinary mixer...

But as well as thinking, drinking and connecting, this mixer is different.

It's also a celebration of the 22nd birthday of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega's iconic mascot.

And Sonic himself will be dropping in to mix it up with guests, giveaway swag at Sega's community table, and boogie down on the dance floor to Sounds by R3Y.

Share in birthday cake, play hit mobile games like Family Farm from FunPlus, and get snapped by Avery to share with friends. It's going to be an epic good time.
