Our first Drink Up saw SF's mobile gaming elite spinning the wheel of beer
The evening began with Jeff Scott, 148Apps' editor-in-chief, and Martine Paris, Pocket Gamer's US events editor, welcoming a stream of hungry and thirsty mobile game developers with two cushy pool pods filled with swag from sponsors Grantoo and Heyzap.

There were squeezy rocket ships, tee shirts with matching shades in every color, and one hundred drink tickets to match the 100 beers being featured at San Francisco's newest bar plus arcade, the Golden Gate Tap Room.

Fireball shots were going down fast as games of shuffleboard and skee-ball.

All in

In the crowd were guests from Wargaming, Perfect World, DeNA, Disney, NativeX, Hitfox, and 2K Games talking about how much they enjoy the SF Pocket Gamer get-togethers.

"Pocket Gamer has created something quite special, and that's a place where you know you're going to meet valuable business contacts each month in a very relaxed environment," said Fabien-Pierre Nicolas, GM Mobile, Perfect World.

Aslan Korver of Breaktime Studios took some great photos of the crowd.
