Trip Hawkins, Facebook, Disney and Mind Candy headline next Mobile Mixer in San Francisco

It's been an amazing year for mobile games, particularly in San Francisco, where Pocket Gamer has been making its mark with the hit monthly series, the Pocket Gamer Mobile Mixers.

We've featured many of the top industry leaders including Supercell, Chillingo, Grand Cru, Kabam, Storm8, GREE, DeNa and many others.

Thousands of mobile game professionals have come from near and far to ask their UA, monetisation, funding and PR questions, show off their games, and mix it up with our A-list crowd of VCs, top publishers, recruiters and the press.

One last fling

And now, as the year draws to a close, Pocket Gamer is delivering one last all-star panel to review the best and worst of 2013.

What worked, what flopped, what we can expect from 2014, and what every dev should know about launching their breakout game including how to get featured on Facebook. Panelists are:

  • Trip Hawkins, founder and CEO of If You Can
  • Michael Acton Smith, CEO, Mind Candy
  • Dan Morris, global lead, Mobile Game Partnerships, Facebook
  • Jason Harris, director of worldwide external development, EA
  • Deepika Bajaj, associate director of mobile at CAPCOM
  • Brian Canary, senior designer at Disney Interactive Media Group
  • Ben Bear, VP of sales at Vungle
  • Martine Paris, US events editor at Pocket Gamer

Following the panel, we'll be celebrating good times with drinks, bites and beats by R3Y. There will also be the opportunity to make new friends and try your luck at Vungle's table for a chance to win an Ouya.

Many thanks to our lead sponsor Vungle, and drinks sponsor, WildTangent, for making this event possible.

RSVP here and bring your business cards as they're required for entry. If you're interested in speaking or sponsoring Pocket Gamer SF events, contact martine.paris[at]pocketgamer.co.uk. See you there.
