Spurred on by 300% revenue growth, Grow Mobile expands management team

Grow Mobile has announced a pair of new high-level hires in the wake of a profitable 2013, a year which saw its revenue grow by 300 percent.

Joining the consolidated mobile application marketing platform are John Moffett as CFO and Brett Orlanski as VP of business development.

Moffett previously served as CFO for AppDirect, Inc., Vizu Corp., and Digg Inc. while Orlanski has held business development positions at WildTangent, Virtual Greats, and Doppelganger Inc.

Room to grow

The Bay Area start-up raised a seed round of $1 million back in October 2012 for its focus on helping big advertising clients optimise their spending on mobile.

Beta clients for its services included GREE and Zynga, although now its doors are open to any client who can meet its $20,000 monthly minimum spend.

Since its official launch in June, Grow Mobile is now tracking more than 200 million devices and processing data for more than nine million daily active users.

A.J. Yeakel, co-founder and COO at Grow Mobile, said the growth his company saw in 2013 puts it in a prime position to meet the needs of its customers in the year ahead.

"As the mobile market expands in 2014, competition heats up, and fragmentation is greater, we will continue to invest in the Grow Mobile Platform to deliver new features that help our customers navigate and take full advantage of new market opportunities."
