Develop 2014 speaker submissions set to close on 7 March

Organisers behind this year's Develop conference have urged potential speakers to submit their talk proposals before the deadline passes on 7 March.

As in previous years, Develop 2014 is bound for Brighton on the south coast of England, with the industry's leading lights set to take to the stage at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel from 8-10 July.

Speak up

Last years Develop conference brought in a record number of attendees - 1,667 to be exact - with 85 percent of them rating the event as 'good' or 'excellent'.

"We personally invite the majority of our speakers knowing - based on input from delegates and our advisory board - that they will deliver insight into the issues of most importance to the industry," commented Andy Lane, MD of organiser Tandem Events.

"But we also like to extend that invitation wider to ensure that all developers who have something valid and insightful to share have an opportunity to do so."

If you've got the urge to do some grade-A speaking, get the ball rolling over at the Develop 2014 website.

What do you call someone who has an unhealthy obsession with video games and Sean Bean? That'd be a 'Chris Kerr'. Chris is one of those deluded souls who actually believes that one day Sean Bean will survive a movie. Poor guy.
