Parisian pow-wow: Game Connection Europe 2014 issues call for speakers

Heading back to the French capital later in the year, organisers behind Game Connection Europe 2014 have issued a call for speakers, setting a deadline of 30 April for all submissions.

This year's event, which aims to give the world's games industry professionals a chance to interact, network, and connect, wil once again take place in Paris, but this time earlier than its usual slot in December, running from 29-31 October.

Speak friend, and enter

Those interested in speaking at the conference can apply by filling out a proposal form on the Game Connection website.

Speakers will have free reign over their subject matter, however, this year Game Connection has revealed it's particularly interested in presentations that hone in on "current key issues".

Sessions must fit into one of five categories - such as Art, Business, Game Design, Marketing and Technology - and can cover any platform currently on the market.

For more information on how to become a speaker at Game Connection 2014, you can find a full set of guidelines, along with a proposal form, on the conference website.

What do you call someone who has an unhealthy obsession with video games and Sean Bean? That'd be a 'Chris Kerr'. Chris is one of those deluded souls who actually believes that one day Sean Bean will survive a movie. Poor guy.
