Microsoft's Rob Fraser to open Develop with A Rough Guide to Cloud Gaming

Microsoft UK's chief technology officer for cloud services, Rob Fraser, will open the Evolve track of the Develop in Brighton 2014 conference. 

His keynote entitled 'A Rough Guide to Cloud Gaming' will explain how, by thinking more in terms of the cloud and gaming, developers can create new user experiences.

It's also been announced that the Evolve day will include a mini-track on the impact of psychology in games

The cutting edge

“Evolve is all about being at the cutting edge of games development,” said Andy Lane, managing director of Tandem Events.

“With sessions on virtual reality, second screen, psychology, mobile gaming and a keynote from Microsoft on cloud gaming, this year’s Evolve will have some of the best and forward thinking minds in the games industry and is a fantastic way to kick off the conference.”
