Another Big Indie Pitch winner gets the spotlight after Casual Connect

Casual Connect USA 2014 in San Francisco has proven to be as rife with game development talent as always, and we were priveleged to get our hands on some of the hottest up-and-coming titles in the smartphone and tablet markets at our Big Indie Pitch.

The speed-dating showcase was brought to Casual Connect by Samsung, and congratulation go out to Rocket 5 Studios for taking a well-earned first place with the stunning The Phantom P.I. Mission Apparition.

The puzzle-platformer is the result of a previous game jam prototype, now blossomed into an incredible-looking point-and-click puzzler.

Best of the rest

The Tap Lab took second place with Bigfoot Hunter, while third place wwent to Galaxy Dash: Race to the Outer Run by SuperMoon Games.

First prize to The Phantom P.I. Mission Apparition.

The Big Indie Pitch never fails to uncover the best and brightest of new and unreleased indie titles, so our thanks go out to sponsor Samsung for helping us to make Casual Connect USA's event into such a fun and enlightinging day.

Any indies interested in getting their games seen, and maybe winning an invaluable Steel Media promotional package, should get their names down for our next Big Indie Pitch at GDC Europe on August 12th.
