Weekly UK App Store Charts: Disney's Castle of Illusion seizes control

This week's exclusive look at the official UK App Store charts highlight just how fierce the competition is, particularly on iPhone.

Warner Bros.' HeadsUp!  has been toppled by Disney's Castle of Illusion  on the iPhone paid charts, while Micromon, Football Chairman, Doodle Jump  and Car Chase SImulator  have all fallen out of the top 10.

Elsewhere things are looking familiar, with Minecraft, Circle the Dot,  and Star Wars: Commander  all holding on to their places at the top of the respective iPad and iPhone charts.

New entries such as LEGO The Lord of the Rings, Piggy Break,  and Make Them Fall  will all be hoping that they can cement their places in the top 10.

Of course, only time will tell if they've got the legs to stick around for the long haul, so come back next week to see which games prove their worth, and which ones bite the dust.

What do you call someone who has an unhealthy obsession with video games and Sean Bean? That'd be a 'Chris Kerr'. Chris is one of those deluded souls who actually believes that one day Sean Bean will survive a movie. Poor guy.
