Unity calls for speakers as Unite Europe 2015 registration opens

Super early-bird registration and applications for speakers are now open for Unity’s Unite Europe 2015 conference.

Taking place in Amsterdam from 24 – 25 June, Unite Europe gathers together developers, publishers and specialists in Unity from across the continent.

It’s an event designed to allow industry professionals to share and learn practical insights into the latest Unity developments, and how to use the platform effectively.

Held this year at the Westergasfabriek venue, attendees will have access to over 30 hours of sessions that will include hands-on workshops and lectures from Unity’s in-house developers.

Following the unveiling of Unity 5 at GDC 2015, the new product is likely to be a key focus of proceedings.

Welcome to the Netherlands

“Set in the beautiful surroundings of Amsterdam, we are incredibly excited to come back to Westergasfabriek, where we hosted Unite in 2012,” said Antony Douglas, VP EMEA of Unity.

“With a mixture of developers, publishers, evangelists and hobbyists, Unite Europe will provide the perfect platform for those looking to build awesome content out of the Unity development platform and online services.”

Speaker submissions for Unite Europe 2015 will be open until 25 April here, and organisers have said they will be looking for “relevancy and teaching potential” alongside a preference for “new and exciting development techniques and methods.”

Super early bird registration discounts of 20 per cent off the ticket price are currently available to the first 250 tickets sold on Unity’s website. The discount will end on 25 April.
