DeltaDNA has rejigged its analytics dashboard to include new tools like real-time retention stats and insights into monetization performance.

The new dashboard enables developers and publishers to benchmark their games' performance against four key retention and monetization KPIs.

With increased transparency, it means game makers can now compare their game’s performance to some of the industry’s leading titles.

How do you compare?

The Benchmark Dashboard pulls data from a sample of over 1,000 games on the deltaDNA platform, and awards a game a real-time percentage score related to each of the four KPIs.

A new review analytics feature also charts feedback on iOS, Android and Steam to give developers real-time feedback on what players think – including a “word cloud” of most frequent game critiques.

“While dashboards are an essential tool for telling you how your game is performing, as a developer it might not always be clear what your players are saying about it and exactly how you compare to other games,” said deltaDNA CEO Mark Robinson in a statement.

“With the Benchmark Dashboard, developers instantly access direct feedback from players, and they get vital information on how their game is performing against others. This is a great addition to the deltaDNA platform, to give publishers and developers all the tools they need to know their players.”
