Cut the Rope's Om Nom gets a movie

It looks like the Angry Birds animated film will have some competition in 2016.

ZeptoLab has announced that it's working with Blockade Entertainment to release an animated feature based on Cut the Rope.

Cut to the action

Called Om Nom, the film will follow the mayhem caused when the candy-loving monster is released into a US town.

Trying to regain their pet will be 13-year Evan and his younger sister Jordan, although plenty of others - human and non-human - will also be on Om Nom's trail.
