Real-money skill-based mobile eSports platform Cashplay has signed an exclusive two year deal with US rapper Tyga.
The deal kicks off with the release of the 'Tyga - Kingin' World Tour mobile game on iOS in July, followed soon after by Android.
In the game, players will be able to compete in-game against others and even Tyga to win cash prizes in head-to-head tournaments via the Cashplay system.
Leveraging the rapper's celebrity status - he's currently dating Kylie Jenner, one of the Kardashians and has 26 million followers across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram - the game will launch alongside his new reality TV show on MTV Kingin' with Tyga.
New partnerships
Cashplay has partnered with Indian developer Games2win in terms of the game's production and publishing and the two companies will work together in respect to future titles.
"Tyga's music and industry influence offered us an exceptional opportunity to reach our core audience," said Cashplay CEO, Jarrod Epps.
"This title is an exciting first release of a string of games featuring influential sports and entertainment stars who we have signed to our eSports game label."
