What does Rami Ismail think about indie mobile gaming? Find out at #PGCHelsinki

We’re opening Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki with a bang, as we wheel out the superstars of the mobile gaming industry.

And they don't come much brigher than Rami Ismail, founder and strategic director of stellar indie studio Vlambeer.

One of the minds responsible for iOS hits Super Crate Box and Ridiculous Fishing, as well as a host of consistently revered titles running on other formats, Rami will devote his keynote to sharing his views on the current state of indie mobile game development.

Must hear

If you've ever met Rami or sat through one of his conference sessions, you'll know the big man doesn't pull his punches.

This will be must-hear material, as was his session at Pocket Gamer Connects London 2015.

But it won't be the only one.

Over the course of 1.5 hours, our Superstar Sessions mini-track will host conversations with some of the biggest names in the industry about the topics that will set the agenda for the conference and also dominate the state of play for years to come.

Then there's all the other content, of course.

  • Five key tracks, the full schedule of each we'll unveil very soon,
  • 80+ speakers, fringe events galore,
  • a dedicated match-making system,
  • endless networking opportunities.

So come along. Tickets for PGC Helsinki are still available.

With three boys under the age of 12, former Edge editor Joao has given up his dream of making it to F1 and instead spends his weekends transforming his living room floor into a venue for hosting increasingly complex Scalextric tracks. When in work mode, he looks after the production (aka the behind-the-scenes magic) of Steel Media's series of conferences.
