Gameloft joins the Amazon Underground experiment

Drops 4 games into play

Gameloft joins the Amazon Underground experiment

It's not clear how Amazon's new Underground app store for #actuallyfree mobile games will work, especially for F2P games, but that doesn't mean some companies are getting excited about it.

Underground launched with games from the likes of Disney, Rovio and Sega, and now French publisher Gameloft has announced its support.

As with those other companies, Gameloft isn't rolling out its most popular titles.

Instead it's experimenting with Amazon's news paid-for-playtime model ($0.002 per minutes) by releasing what we're politely calling four 'legacy' F2P games.

  • Cars: Fast as Lightning
  • My Little Pony
  • Age of Sparta
  • Pastry Paradise
