AppsFlyer extends to support UA on Instagram

Following similar news from Apsalar, AppsFlyer is the latest analytics company to roll out support for Instagram.

The moves come as Facebook looks to open up advertising on its photo platform, with mobile game and app UA expected to be a major revenue generator; just as the sector is on Facebook itself.

With over 300 million users, Instagram certainly has the reach, although questions remain about how effective it will be as an advertising platform for games, more notable in terms of what genres will work best.

Excited

AppsFlyer hopes to help solve this question by providing real-time access to campaign data including impressions, clicks and cost alongside post-install activity such as in-app purchases, sessions, ARPU and LTV.

"I'm extremely excited about this integration, as it reminds me of 2012 when we started working with Facebook to release the Facebook Mobile App Install Ads," said Oren Kaniel, AppsFlyer's CEO.

"We are committed to making sure we stay on the cutting edge of the app marketing industry, and we are very pleased to integrate with the Instagram Ads API to make our attribution analytics available at the early stages of this important program in order to help marketers generate the best results possible."
