Mobile data outfit Adjust takes funding to $30m as it closes $17 million D round

Ambitious Berlin-based mobile data company Adjust has announced it's closed a $17 million Series D funding round.

The round was lead by Highland Europe and takes Adjust's funding total to $30 million.

The investment will be used to accelerate development of its products, notably in areas such as the prevention of fraudulent traffic, encouraging of user-friendly advertising practices and privacy protection.

Market influencer

The company has been in expansive mode recently, hiring staff and opening offices in San Francisco, Istanbul, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo and Sydney.

It claims its SDK has surpassed 1.3 billion live instances and as a company it became operationally profitable in 2015.

"We have now reached a critical scale where as a market leader within the ecosystem, we are uniquely positioned to drive both product innovation as well as industry standards," stated CEO Christian Henschel.
