Scopely partners with Redemption Games to publish its first two titles

Los Angeles-based publishing firm Scopely has announced a deal with San Diego-based developer Redemption Games to bring its first two games to mobile.

Redemption Games was founded in the summer of 2015 by two former members of SGN, the company behind popular casual games such as Cookie Jam.

Perfect partners

“We are always looking to partner with diverse talent to help our mission of creating an ever growing roster of highly engaging and successful games that reach a global audience,” said Tim O’Brien, Chief Revenue Officer of Scopely.

“Redemption Games is made up of an incredibly talented and innovative group of game developers with a track record of creating hits.”

Scopely CEO Walter Driver will also be joining the board of Redemption Games as part of the deal to help the young developer.

“With six consecutive #1 games and three games in the App Store Top 100 grossing charts, Scopely’s impressive track record makes the company a cornerstone of the mobile games market and the perfect partner for us at Redemption,” said Michael Witz, Redemption Games co-founder.

“We can’t wait to continue to expand our team and get to work on our next projects in development with the Scopely team.”

Both Redemption Games and Scopely are currently hiring for a number of roles, so be sure to check out how to get a job at Scopely, and the current vacancies at Redemption Games.
