Video: Build a brand persona not a brand

At Pocket Gamer Connects San Francisco 2015, Jay Baage, Executive Director of Ayzenberg Group, gave on talk on social media's role in advertising.

According to Baage, "social today is really a starting point" for advertising, since discovery on the app stores has been made harder thanks to the amount of competition out there.

He recommended building a brand persona instead of simply a brand, saying "you need to make it more human" in order to better engage potential users.

You can use social media channels to engage users with lists, quizzes, even branded videos – "these things really work", claimed Baage.
