At Pocket Gamer Connects San Francisco 2015, Rennie Allen, then a Security Solutions Architect at Arxan Technologies (now with Blizzard), gave a talk on security in multiplayer mobile games.

He started by talking about jailbreaking, saying "if your phone is not jailbroken, the security of it is excellent", but most users ignore this fact in order to cheat games and access other features.

To that end, he spoke about the services offered by Arxan, including data obfuscation and key hiding, to prevent any would be attackers from easily getting access to data.
