Cheaper and more welcoming, Estonian conference GameDev Days takes an indie focus for 2016

Now entering its fourth year, GameDev Days is taking place at the Sokos Hotel Viru, Tallinn, Estonia,  on 8-9 April 2016.

Organised by Nitro Nation Online developer Creative Mobile, and supported by IGDA Estonia and GameFounders, this year the conference is focused on highlighting the successes and challenges of indie heroes.

In keeping with this approach, ticket prices have been lowered, and early bird registration - starting from €5 for students - runs until the end of February.

Two tracks of goodness

In terms of the conference schedule, there will be a Startup track for students and enthusiasts entering the games industry, and an Expert track for more experienced developers.

Also, the Game Village exhibition will enable participants to vote for their favourite indie project.

Another interesting positioning is the statement that "GameDev Days 2016 has restrictions to commercial activities of service providing companies".

You can find out more details about the conference via its website.
