FTUE: Dragon Land

In our First Time User Experience videos, we play the first 10 minutes of F2P mobile games to experience how developers are onboarding their players in terms of the UX and basic tutorial process.

In this episode of FTUE, we play Social Point's 3D platforming extension to its popular Dragon City game, Dragon Land.

Mario with wings?

Even using a physical console controller, 3D platformer for the casual audience are very hard to get right in terms of their difficulty level.

When it comes to pulling them off on a touchscreen, the task is even harder - something Jon's terrible reactions in this video demonstrate.

Whether the target audience for Dragon Land can do any better, remains to be seen.
