Scientific Revenue's Ted Verani on increasing your LTV through dynamic IAP pricing

At Pocket Gamer Connects London 2016, Ted Verani, Head of Business Development at Scientific Revenue, gave a talk on the importance of dynamic pricing of in-app purchases.

"A one size fits all pricing strategy is not going to work," he said, pointing to the different ways that different players interact with the game.

Pay attention to your users

What this means is that you need to pay attention to each of your user's wants and needs when it comes to IAPs, adjusting your pricing for the different types to get the best LTV available for your game.

When it comes to actually buying the IAPs, Verani suggested that using incentivised ads attracts users to buying more IAPs, and points out those who buy an IAP are likely to become repeat customers.
