Social network Instagram has revealed that it will be rolling out video carousel ads on its service, allowing advertisers to run five video ads from a single post.
The ads can be up to sixty seconds long each, and, like with the current carousel ads, users will be able to view them by swiping through the ads.
Sweetening the pot
Instagram is already a desirable place to be for mobile game developers, as it offers a lower CPI than parent company Facebook, likely because it has only allowed ads since summer 2015.
But that hasn't stopped major players from investing heavily in advertising there, with Machine Zone and Supercell showing up in the top ten advertisers on the service in Q4 2015.
In fact, mobile developers make up 27% of the service's advertisers, a number that could increase as the video carousel ads are rolled out over the coming weeks.
