Apple TV to get iPhone controller support

Apple will launch a new TV remote app that lets people use their iPhone to play Apple TV games.

The iPhone will work just like the Siri remote for games thanks to the accelerometer and gyroscope.

Apple is also opening up support for four game controllers for multiplayer gaming.

Another new feature coming to Apple TV is ReplayKit. Users playing games will soon be able to live broadcast their gameplay or save a video to share online later.
