Big Bang Racing hits one million downloads in its first week

Finnish mobile developer Traplight has revealed that its first game, Big Bang Racing, has achieved one million downloads in its first week of release.

The puzzle-racer allows players to create, share, and play their own levels. Over 100,000 user-generated levels were created during the first three days of release.

First timers

Traplight was initially founded in 2010 by former employees of Supercell and RedLynx, who also had previous experience at Disney, Warner Bros, Sega and LucasArts.

Since then, it closed a seed funding round of $500,000 in October 2014, with a further $1.4 million funding round in December 2015.
