A tricky sell given recent political trends and events in the country, nevertheless a group of companies and organisations in Turkey have banded together to launch the Turkey Loves Indies campaign.

Led by the Game Developers Association of Turkey (TOGED) and Investment Support and Promotion Agency (ISPAT), the campaign seeks to raise awareness of how the Turkish government supports local game developers.

It has created a website filled with information on the various support programs and government incentives available to developers to help fund their projects if their development team is based in Turkey.

The Turkey Loves Indies campaign will also be raising awareness by attending a number of different events around the world, including being the partner country of Gamescom 2016.
