Gazillion Entertainment cuts a non-Marvel path onto mobile with licensed IP Dexter: Slice

Gazillion Entertainment has revealed its first ever non-Marvel licensed mobile-only title Dexter: Slice.

The game is based on the TV series Dexter. It is a spiritual sequel to Slice HD, created by Ecco the Dolphin creator Ed Annunziata and released in 2010.

It's Gazillion's first mobile title, as well as its first non-Marvel title. The studio is best known for its PC MMO's Marvel Heroes and Marvel Super Hero Squad Online.

Phenomenal intellectual properties

"Anyone familiar with Gazillion knows that we pride ourselves in making quality product related to phenomenal intellectual properties – Dexter: Slice is no different," said Dave Dohrmann, CEO of Gazillion.

Dexter: Slice features dialogue from the titular character's father, voiced by James Remar. Dexter himself, portrayed by Michael C. Hall, will feature in a DLC episode to be released in December.

Players are required to move sharp knives out of the way of buttons which must then be pressed before the knives slide back into place. Failure is met by "anguished screams" and "realistic blood splatters".
