Vainglory bolsters professional team roster with five established eSports organisations

Super Evil Megacorp is welcoming five of the premiere eSports teams to its mobile MOBA Vainglory to boost the profile of its growing eSport.

New professional Vainglory teams will be established by Fnatic, Echo Fox, NRG, Rogue and Immortals. The latter organisation has acquired the established NA team Hammers Velocity, while the rest have formed new teams.

Fnatic will also be establishing a Vainglory base in London as part of Super Evil's Home City Program. The organisation will run local tournaments and meetups in order to grow the community in the city.

High-profile teams

"These are some of the most diverse and high-profile teams in all of eSports," said Kristian Segerstrale, CEO of Super Evil Megacorp.

"These teams are owned and operated by some of the most respected names in sports and entertainment, and there's tremendous opportunity for everyone involved to usher in the next defining moments of eSports."

Super Evil recently established a Vainglory Team Franchise program that aims to grow the eSport with the help of the teams that take part in it. The new teams have not yet announced their involvement in the franchise.
