The Star Wars franchise is now receiving its first casual puzzle game from Disney and Genera Games called Star Wars: Puzzle Droids.
The game is a match-3 puzzler starring rotund droid BB-8 from the latest trilogy of Star Wars films. It will feature scenes from the films alongside stories designed for the game.
Genera Games is handling development of the game, marking its second partnership with Disney on a licensed product. Its first title was Peggle-esque casual game Frozen Icy Shot.

Pre-registration for Star Wars: Puzzle Droids is already open on Google Play. Disney will be showing it off to the public at its Star Wars Celeberation in Orlando on April 13th to 16th.
Star Wars is regularly licensed for mobile games, though typically for midcore titles. Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes remains EA's top performing mobile title, while Netmarble most recently launched a Star Wars MOBA, Star Wars: Force Arena.
