Best Fiends franchise generates more than $65 million in revenue

Seriously's Best Fiends and Best Fiends Forever have together racked up over 60 million downloads and more than $65 million in revenue to date.

This was revealed to PocketGamer.biz in an interview with Seriously CCO Petri Järvilehto about the evolution of Best Fiends since its 2014 launch.

Elsewhere in the interview Järvilehto said the Helsinki studio is now generating $100,000 a day, but that the team nonetheless feels "we’re just getting started".

More to come

By the end of 2017 he is predicting 100 million downloads across Best Fiends and Best Fiends Forever.

Seriously is well-known for using creative influencer campaigns for its Best Fiends games, including the 'Don't Download Best Fiends' campaign for which it won YouTube Ad of the Year 2016.

Järvilehto also confirms that we can expect to see more of that, with the plan being for Seriously to "build out our own video content" in addition to influencer work and "some pretty novel things launching in May on the animation front".
